Terms of Service

By using this HushBox instance you agree to the terms below. The operator of this instance may add additional terms specific to their community.

Acceptable use

Do not submit content that threatens, harasses, dehumanizes, or targets an individual; that reveals personal information about someone else; that involves minors in a sexual context; that promotes illegal activity; or that impersonates another person. Automated submissions, spam, and abuse-prevention circumvention are prohibited.

Creators

Creators are responsible for moderating submissions on their pages, respecting participant anonymity, and following the community guidelines. Creators may not attempt to identify anonymous participants or share private moderation data publicly.

Content ownership

You retain the rights to what you submit. By submitting to a campaign that allows public publication, you grant the creator and the platform a non-exclusive license to display your confession as part of that campaign.

Moderation and removal

The operator and creators may decline, edit for safety, remove, or refuse to publish any submission at their discretion. High-risk content is held for additional review and never auto-published.

No emergency services

HushBox is not a crisis service. If you or someone you know is in danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline listed on the Community Guidelines page.
